Like the Spanish Inquisition, the last thing veteran Fawlty Towers comic actor Andrew 'Manuel' Sachs expected to find on his answering machine was a series of abusive messages from Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross as part of the BBC Radio 2 show The Russell Brand Show. But after a notable career built on the back of a series of mildly racist comic performances in the seventies he was rudely awakened by several sexually explicit messages from the BBC comedy duo which detailed exactly what Russell Brand had done to his shy, retiring granddaughter Georgina Baillie (also known as Voluptua of burlesque troupe Satanic Sluts Extreme) during their brief fling. This soon hit the papers and triggered a media frenzy resulting in a bout of knee-jerk sackings, suspensions and apologies, and the innocent Miss Baillie's entirely inadvertent propulsion to fame.
