LBUG.tv Help And FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Video problems

Videos will not play

Flash Player must be installed and Javascript enabled. If you have Flash but are still experiencing problems you may need to upgrade to the latest version. Remove any previous versions then download and install the free update from Adobe.

If you continue to have problems make sure Flash is set as the default streaming application, try temporarily disabling pop up-blocking software and adjusting your firewall settings.

Videos keep stopping and starting

If your internet connection is unreliable or slower than 500+ Kbps try pausing the video until it is fully downloaded before playing. If this does not work clear your browser cache then retry.

Videos get stuck on the loading screen

A firewall or other security application may be blocking the media stream. Try temporarily disabling them to see if videos now load. Alternatively other software such as RealPlayer, QuickTime or Windows Media Player may be competing for the stream.

Videos never finish buffering or end early

If a video is interrupted while loading or buffering, an incomplete copy can get stuck in the cache and never fully download or buffer. Clearing the cache should resolve this problem.

Game problems

Games will not play

Games require the Flash Player plug-in to work. If you already have Flash but are still experiencing problems you may need to upgrade to the latest version. Remove any previous versions then download and install the free update from Adobe. If this does not work try clearing the browser cache.

The latest version of Flash is installed but games still will not work or security warnings appear

Try adjusting browser security settings.

3D games will not work

Some 3D games rely on DirectX or OpenGL to run. If it is not already installed, you can download the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft.

Games run slowly

If your computer is struggling to run a resource hungry game close any open applications and browser windows. Try installing the latest driver for your video card.
